Major & Career Exploration
Each Thrive student goes through an individualized intake process and participates in exploring majors and careers as necessary. We review the results and develop plans which meet your learning needs. We also offer several resources to help you plan a career that fits your degree.
Job Interview & Career Prep
Our goal is to help you put your best foot forward. Starting in your junior year, Thrive students are encouraged to participate in the Professional Engagement Program, or PEP. We coordinate resume creation or revision meetings and schedule practice interviews with industry professionals to give you the edge on your job search. We also assist students with internship placement and shadowing opportunities that may open the door to future employment.
Networking & Job Placement
Thrive has built a wide network of companies that are committed to improving workplace accessibility and investing in employees with learning disabilities. In partnership with the College’s Career Services Center, we encourage our students to participate in career fairs with national and community partners to help our students connect with outstanding companies.
For those students planning to attend graduate school or achieve a professional certification, Thrive provides resources and guidance. We’ll work with you to understand your professional goals and plan all the steps for achieving them.
