Be Yourself
You are so much more than a grade or score. At Thrive, we get to know the real you and care for your social and emotional wellbeing.
First-Year Seminar
The first year of college is a time of adjustment and can be difficult without the right support. To ensure a smooth transition, all first-year students are enrolled in a seminar course led by the director of disability services and professionals from the Cleveland Clinic.
This course is designed specifically for Thrive students and focuses on the tools needed to be successful in a college environment. Clinicians work with students to help them form a network of their peers and succeed in an environment where they feel socially and emotionally supported.
Self-Advocacy
To do well in college and beyond, you have to understand your own skills and needs. Our team will help you develop the confidence to speak up for yourself and pursue your goals.
Social & Volunteer Experiences
College is all about making new friends and exploring new interests. Many Thrive students participate in clubs, sports and activities on the Notre Dame College campus. Thrive also sponsors several groups and events to help our students connect with one another.
